P.E.A.C.E.- is a Safe Passage program that provide a positive, trusted adult presence for students as they travel to and from school.
Safe Passage workers are posted on Safe Passage routes to support children traveling to and from school during arrival and dismissal bell times. You can identify them by their neon-colored Safe Passage vests.
What is the hiring process?
Interested applicants must submit and complete an employment application. P.E.A.C.E is currently conducting the hiring. Please specify if you are available both AM and PM swifts 7:00am to 9:00am; 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

What are the hours and rate of pay?
All Safe Passage workers must be committed to work a total of 4 hours per day, 5 days a week. The exact start and end times will vary by school. In all cases, Safe Passage workers will need to work a split shift to support student arrival and dismissal, meaning people will be expected to work a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon. Pay is $16.00/hour.
Will I receive training if I am hired?
All Safe Passage workers will receive training before they begin working as well as ongoing support to promote a successful experience.
